Salary: 40-45k pa
Location: Belfast City Centre
Contract: Temporary, approx 4+ months, full-time

Set shifts: All M-F. 2pm to 11pm or 4pm to 1am.
Overview
Our financial tech services client wishes to employ a Senior IT Service Desk Advisor to contribute to the operation of their cloud, network, server, and security services. You'll provide inbound telephony technical support to financial clients in the US and resolve escalated tickets for their IT infrastructure. This will include supporting Windows, Emails, SharePoint, Exchange, Servers, Networks, WiFi, and providing support for cloud services (M365/Azure), server hardware, software and security/network devices.
Examples of technologies deployed to support their infrastructure include:

Cisco networking and VOIP
MS Teams Calling
M365 and Azure AD
Cloud and on-premises backup technologies
Oracle IaaS (limited to our finance system)
MS Dynamics (moving to SAAS in near future)
Enterprise level firewall technologies, Checkpoint & Fortinet
Multi layered security technologies, Sophos, RSA, Forcepoint
MS SQL Server
Microsoft Hyper-V/Windows Clusters
Storage area networking
SCCM
O365, including Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive.

Apps for Enterprise

Requirements
1) A thorough understanding of a modern IT Infrastructure, its technologies and tools including:
a) Active Directory Services (e.g. GPO, ADUC, DNS).
b) LAN, WAN.
c) Microsoft operating systems, such as Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012 - 2022.
2) The configuration and support of cloud infrastructure, this must include Azure and/or M365.
3) Evidence of diagnosing and resolving complex problems in a hybrid environment. Managing service desk tickets to adhere to SLA's, providing telephony and remote support.
Desirable
Expertise in email tech would be great to have.
