We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to oversee strategic accounts focused on Powerwall, Tesla's residential energy home battery product. In this role, you will drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction through effective sales development and customer success management.
This role is based in either Manchester, London, or Birmingham regions.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow B2B sales with key accounts
Identify and prioritize key relationships to maximize sales opportunities
Oversee customer success to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, retention, forecasting accuracy and identify growth opportunities with existing customers
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the residential energy sector
Provide insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with the account management teams and other departments, including business development, marketing, channel development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
Continuously evaluate and improve sales and customer success processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights on sales performance and recommendations for improvement
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B channel sales within the residential battery storage or solar industry
Proven ability to manage and grow strategic key accounts, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets
Proficient in sales forecasting, reporting, and the use of CRM and sales tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and enthusiasm combined with a proactive work ethic and a collaborative mindset
Willingness to travel regularly to meet key partners and maintain strong, in-person relationships
Fluent in English
