Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to teach acting for screen at levels 5 and 6 to a professional standard whilst working with the team to develop the recorded media modules. Help our graduates as they complete their final year and transition into the TV and Film industry. Contribute to recruitment through community outreach, open days and masterclasses.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will participate in the design, delivery, and assessment of modules related to screen acting, emphasizing camera craft, performance, film set etiquette, and direct final year showreels.

Responsibilities will also include assisting the wider program team with curriculum development, student mentoring, and collaborative projects. Evaluate and assess assignments, tasks, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback to students. Address student feedback and take appropriate support as necessary. Develop teaching strategies, materials, and assessments that are inclusive and suitable for the diverse student population. Maintain professional practice and/or research in screen acting and directing, contributing to the academic and industry profile of the department.
