Are you passionate about turning data into insight that drives meaningful change? At Sage, we're looking for a Senior Manager to design and deliver innovative analytics solutions that empower our People Function and wider business to make smarter, data-driven decisions.




In this role, you'll act as a trusted adviser -- using your analytical expertise, consulting skills, and industry knowledge to inform strategic decisions and shape the future of our workforce.




This role will work in the Newcastle office 3 days a week and 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities

Enable better People decisions


- Support the ongoing development and execution of Sage's People Data Strategy.


- Utilise data and analytics to consult with relevant stakeholders and drive better business outcomes.


- Apply advanced statistical modelling and data science techniques, applying predictive and/or prescriptive modelling as required.


- Support workforce productivity and organisational effectiveness initiatives and create models that assess their progress.




Measure and monitor success


- Help to design measures and metrics that are regularly monitored and ensure monthly management reports and KPIs are delivered accurately and on-time.


- Manage the design and implementation of a coordinated suite of dashboards/tools to deliver people analytics to a different business areas.


- Equip both the People Function and wider business stakeholders with the necessary insights to understand how different HR domains/initiatives connect and impact each other.




Drive data excellence


- Contribute to data governance projects and initiatives and help drive best practice in terms of data privacy, data management and knowledge sharing.


- Support the implementation of colleague data into Sage's EDM and Data Platform.


- Identify opportunities for automation and help to improve the technology stack and means through which people and workforce analytics are delivered.




Develop our data capability


- Keep informed about new analytics tools, techniques, and methodologies for people analytics.


- Develop and upskill existing colleagues, both in the immediate team and wider function.


- Ad hoc projects as required.




Requirements:


- Passion for utilising data and analytics to uncover meaningful insights and drive business better performance and outcomes.


- Expert in data visualisation with experience in a range of different visualisation tools.


- Comprehensive knowledge of statistical modelling.


- Able to communicate complex analyses and themes to a wider business audience.


- A considerable amount of experience of working in People Analytics or a closely related data and analytics field


- In-house or 'on-the-ground' experience working on large-scale workforce transformation projects.


- Good understanding of data governance processes and methodologies, GDPR and data privacy practices.


- Bachelor's degree and/or post-graduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. maths, statistics, etc.).
