to oversee the effective leadership and daily operations of
three preschools and nine after-school clubs
within our thriving childcare group. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care, education, and compliance across all sites, supporting managers and teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.
This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with a strong background in early years and school-age childcare, excellent organisational and people management skills, and a commitment to driving quality, consistency, and innovation across multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight:
Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to setting managers and their teams across all preschools and after-school clubs.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor and maintain high standards in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular audits, supervisions, and site visits.
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations including staffing, rotas, attendance, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of care and education.
Staff Development:
Support recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development of staff across all sites.
Curriculum & Learning:
Ensure the delivery of engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that meet the needs of all children.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standards across all settings. Respond promptly to incidents and compliance matters.
Parent & Community Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with parents, schools, and community partners to promote collaboration and trust.
Financial Awareness:
Support managers with budgeting, occupancy growth, and cost control to achieve sustainable financial performance across all sites.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, ensuring the group remains at the forefront of best practice in early years and wraparound care.
Qualifications & Experience
A
minimum Level 3 qualification
in Early Years Education (Level 5/6 preferred).
Proven experience in
multi-site leadership
or management within an early years or childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of the
EYFS
,
Ofsted inspection frameworks
, and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with flexibility to travel between sites.
A valid
driving licence and access to a vehicle
is essential.
A genuine passion for supporting children's development and empowering staff teams to achieve excellence.

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
