Job Description

Dean Close School are looking for a Senior Marketing Officer to join our marketing team.

We are looking for applicants on a Full and Part Time basis, with an expectation of a higher hours (minimum 30 hours) during term time, and less hours during non term time (minimum 15 hours, but would consider a job share arrangement for the right candidates.

You will work closely with the Head of DCPPS, the Head of DCPS and the Head of Admissions DCPS. We require an experienced, highly motivated marketing professional(s) to manage the day-to-day marketing activity of these schools. You will be part of a wider DCF marketing team and will work together with the marketeers in the other schools. Other roles and duties working within the Prep, Pre-Prep and occasionally the wider Foundation include:

• Help to develop an annual, carefully costed marketing plan, in close consultation with the Head and the Admissions team, and in the context of the wider Marketing Strategy, to be agreed with the Director of Marketing and Communications.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure continuity across the site.
• Build relationships with staff in both the Prep, Pre-Prep and across the DCF. Specifically develop strong relationships with the Admissions (Sales) Team.
• Monitor the School calendar and internal workings as well as external market trends, to identify opportunities.
• Meet regularly with the DCF marketing team, working together to share skills and best practice.
• Support the Choristers in their promotional and marketing activities.
• Performance will be reviewed annually against the targets and objectives set in the annual Marketing plan.

Dean Close School is a co-educational day and boarding school which provides continuity of education from age 2 to 18. The School was established in 1886, and is set in 50 acres of parkland in the centre of Cheltenham. In 2015 the Dean Close Foundation was formed, when the School acquired St John\xe2\x80\x99s on-the-Hill Preparatory School and three nurseries in the Chepstow area. In 2017 the Foundation purchased a further two nurseries, Tree Tops in Cheltenham and Gloucester, taking its total to five.

Dean Close is renowned for focusing on individual development.
