NSAR is a not-for-profit membership organisation within the rail sector having strong links to government, employers, training providers, colleges and universities. We work collaboratively with the transport industry and key stakeholders to provide advice and practical support to help build effective skills strategies, facilitate a modern qualification framework and apprenticeship programme to increase skills and competencies.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our team and drive growth and new business opportunities.

This postholder will deliver a diverse range of campaigns to engage with member organisations, clients and industry, working alongside other members of the marketing and business development team and internal colleagues.

The role is based in our Head Office - Vauxhall Walk, London SE11. We currently offer hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities



Lead the development and delivery of the marketing plan for the company , producing timely and effective marketing materials and campaigns. Efficient and detailed project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects at once. Deliver multi-platform campaigns across print, digital, social, podcasting and video. Produce marketing collateral, as well as research, copywrite and liaise with external agencies when appropriate. Lead and coordinate marketing operations and administration, ordering branded marketing materials and merchandise, managing content and image libraries, auditing and updating marketing literature. Analyse trends and develop the NSAR brand. Write and edit client communications such as email campaigns, knowledge articles and news announcements. Run company digital channels and social channels. Coordinate, organise and run in-person and online events. Support and collaborate with the wider business team with project support and marketing operations.

Requirements



Proven experience in Marketing with the ability to lead and take ownership of marketing plans through to delivery. (Previous experience within the rail and infrastructure services sector would be helpful, but not essential.) Self-starter, keen and able to work off own initiative and proactively suggest ideas to improve the marketing strategy. Energetic, personable, a great teammate with a flexible, 'can do' attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external partners. Excellent organisational skills and communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent written communication skills, preferable with experience writing for business related audiences. Showed skill of all major business packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Understanding of website management, including previous use of a content management system (CMS), Google Analytics and SEO. Understanding of social media best practice and community management. Understanding and use of marketing software tools, such as, Hubspot, Hootsuite, Canva. Experience of Google Adwords and social selling.
