Key Tasks:
To allocate duties and supervise the staff daily to ensure the safe running of the home.
To administer residents prescribed medication in a safe and appropriate manner.
To make sure medication is ordered, stored, administered, and returned as according to Medication Policies.
To liaise with Multi Disciplinary Team for the best practice for our Residents.
To supervise staff to ensure duties are carried out accordingly.
Maintain records as appropriate.
Ensure Residents Review/Care Plans are kept up to date.
To communicate with residents' families as required.
To carry out supervision sessions and staff appraisals.
To implement SSSC Codes of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards.
To hold or be prepared to work towards the necessary qualification for the job role.
SVQ Level 3 plus PDA Award or SVQ Level 4
