You'll join a caring, professional team providing high-quality care to older people. As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you'll lead by example, guiding and supporting your colleagues to deliver compassionate, person-centred care every day.

What Your Day Could Involve

Leading and supporting your team to maintain excellent standards of care Providing management cover and ensuring safety, comfort and wellbeing Overseeing medication, care planning and quality checks Supervising, coaching and appraising staff to help them develop Supporting service users with kindness, dignity and respect

About You

You're calm, capable and kind. You lead with confidence, encourage others and care deeply about helping people live with dignity and comfort. You have a Christian faith and are happy to work within CrossReach's ethos and values.

You'll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and be ready to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You'll also have basic computer literacy, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
