The

successful candidate

will be required to assist the Home Manager in the effective co-ordination of a wide range of services and support required by individual service users to enable them to live active, fulfilled lives and to maintain their rights of autonomy, attainment, citizenship, individuality, well-being, inclusion and diversity.

Taking responsibility for mentoring of new staff, support and supervision to existing staff

Complete documentation accurately, timely and legibly as required by the service users individual needs and requirements of external bodies and the multi-disciplinary team.

Where necessary to assist service users in aspects of their personal care needs with particular attention to enabling service users who have limited mobility, or physical / learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.

Administer medication (computer based) where this is necessary according to the agreed care plan and as directed by the Home Manager.

Required

:

Genuine interest in and experience of working in a residential care setting for elderly people is essential for this role.

NVQ/ QCF Level 3

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Satisfactory DBS check and successful induction training
