An exciting and rare job opportunity has become available. Mini Merrys Private Day Nursery is looking for a full time Senior Nursery Practitioner to work in our Nursery. We are expanding and need experienced staff looking for a new challenge in their career.

At Mini Merrys our full time staff work 4 long days per week and enjoy a full day off each week. Our parents love that they see the same faces on arrival and collection and our staff love having a full day off each week!

The successful candidate needs a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, must provide two suitable references and have a minimum of 2 years experience working with 0-4 year olds.

Main Roles of Senior Nursery Assistant include:

To help direct and supervise the overall running and management of the nursery

To be a Senior member of staff and supervise and support other staff

To plan specifically for children aged 0-4, with clear learning outcomes and next steps including planning for individual children's interests and needs

To contribute to new interventions and support new members of staff

To create a fun learning environment through activities and play following the EYFS framework

To implement safeguarding policies and procedures, and Ofsted requirements
