Job Summary:

Hiranica Private Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Senior Occupational Therapist

to join a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex neurological conditions. This full-time role is based across two specialist care sites in the West Midlands.

About the Role:

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work within a collaborative environment alongside physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, psychologists, and care staff. You will play a key role in delivering individualised and group therapy sessions, supporting residents throughout their rehabilitation journey -- from slow-stream recovery to long-term care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform neurological and musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments Develop and implement person-centred treatment plans Deliver both individual and group rehabilitation interventions Collaborate with internal and external healthcare professionals Attend care reviews, external appointments, and support discharge planning Monitor progress and adjust care plans based on evolving needs Maintain clear, accurate documentation in line with professional standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to staff training

Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in Occupational Therapy Experience working with neurological conditions Proficiency in occupational performance assessments Knowledge of upper limb splinting and ADL-focused rehabilitation Strong organisational and time management skills Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities UK driving licence (preferred, not mandatory)

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with the Model of Human Occupation or Vona du Toit's Model of Creative Ability Experience in mental capacity assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Background in planning and delivering group therapy sessions
