The Role
The role of Paralegal is to provide Clients, Solicitors and Legal Executives with an excellent level of support whilst working compliantly and within best practice. It is therefore an ideal role to develop a career within the firm and the Legal Services profession. The key duties of the role are included in the , but in summary the role requires you to:
Prepare compliance for Solicitors or Legal Executives to review and approve.
Complete legal tasks to progress client matters, e.g. drafting letters and statements for Solicitor approval.
Communicate with clients and third parties via email, phone calls and meetings.
Assist with the management of matter finances, such as drafting invoices or completing posting slips.
Candidate Specification
The role of Senior Paralegal requires you to have the following:
A minimum of three years direct legal experience in a paralegal or legal executive role. Ideally experience will be directly in family law, but open to conversations with very experiences paralegals looking to change.
You will also need to have:
English and Math's GCSE (grade C or higher) or equivalent.
Competency working with a computer.
