The Adviser Support Hub (TASH) are part of the Online Partnership Group Ltd (OPGL). TASH's core offering is outsourced Paraplanning support, but TASH also provides a complete business support solution for the forward-thinking IFA. Offering an invaluable time saving solution and importantly, TASH's service allows the IFA to spend more time in front of their clients doing what they do best - providing advice.

You will be at least level 4 qualified. You will provide high-level paraplanning support to IFAs and assist in the day to day running of the TASH business. You will work within a team, working closely with your Paraplanning Team Leader and demonstrate leadership qualities to help develop other Paraplanners and Trainee Paraplanners to support the businesses workflows to ensure a timely and accurate service is provided to clients. Your main area of work will be holistic financial planning and will include pensions, investments, protection, inheritance tax and cashflow financial planning. You will be required to liaise with product and fund providers to understand technical matters and from time to time, you will be required to gather data. You will be responsible for the delivery of accurate research and recommendation reports. You will check and sign-off other team member's work. You will report regularly to the TASH Paraplanning Team Leader and TASH Operations Manager and adhere to data protection principles and all general OPGL policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Promote and always work towards OPGL's policy of delivery of Client Best Interest outcomes.
b. To always ensure adherence to the OPGL's suite of policy and procedures, with distinct regard and compliance with the Conflict-of-Interest Policy and Inducement and Incentive policy.
c. Always ensure adherence to the principles of data protection and to the OPGL policies on such matters. To take responsibility for own performance and to identify personal development areas.
e. To take responsibility for the development of paraplanners and trainee paraplanners within your team.
f. To perform a high-level and detailed initial assessment of cases on receipt to ensure all required technical information is present, ensuring anything further is requested where needed.
g. To instruct (to team members) preparation of personal illustrations, key features document, application forms and any other relevant information to aid the sign up of business.
h. To be responsible for a complete audit trail from the software system to justify product selection.
i. Prepare, check and issue letters and recommendation reports.
j. Oversee record keeping ensuring every piece of research can be found at any stage of the process.
k. Help ensure that all business completed by the team is compliantly researched and all files for submitted business clearly demonstrate suitability.
l. Assist compliance and other colleagues in any area as directed.
m. Assist with technical and product queries in a timely manner.
n. Ensure a consistent and up to date approach across both Independent and Restricted channels.
o. Prepare, check and issue ongoing service reports where clients have signed up to an ongoing service including the completion of costs and charges.
p. Assist and support other members of your team as required.
q. Product and Fund research using tools such as Selectapension, Synaptics, Assureweb, Morningstar, FE Analytics.
r. Responsibility for high-level cash flow planning/forecasting.
s. Responsibility for creative and accurate financial planning strategies.
t. Detailed investment fund analysis and research and investment switching.
u. As required, dealing with client valuations and reviews.
v. As required, telephone work dealing with insurance companies, IFAs and their clients.
w. As required, general office duties that may include opening post, scanning, filing etc.
Training pathways include working towards:
a. Product and Fund research using industry research tools.
b. Production of Periodic Assessment Suitability Reports (ongoing review support).
c. Strategic Financial Planning.
d. Cashflow modelling.
e. Suitability Report.
f. Leadership and management skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
a. Significant previous experience within the industry is essential.
b. You must be level 4 qualified as a minimum.
c. Excellent keyboard skills and practical experience with Word, Excel and Database applications.
d. Comprehensive knowledge of industry research software is essential.
e. Working and practical knowledge of industry back-office systems such as Intelligent Office CRM is required.
f. Problem solving abilities.
g. Time management skills.
h. Leadership and management skills.
i. Up to date high-level knowledge of financial services providers and products is essential.
j. An understanding of the sales process and how advice is provided to clients within a compliance driven business.
