An established, independently owned B2B PR consultancy is seeking a PR Consultant to join its senior team. With nearly 26 years of continuous operation, the consultancy has built a reputation for a senior-led, delivery-driven model that provides clients with direct access to experienced practitioners who both shape strategy and personally deliver results.
The consultancy works predominantly with B2B organisations with turnovers in excess of 15m across sectors that include commercial insurance, logistics, property and the built environment, utilities, infrastructure and other technically complex industries.
Clients value intelligent, outcomes-led PR that is commercially focused, measurable and aligned to strategic business objectives.
The Role
This is a pivotal, client-facing position suited to an experienced agency professional who remains passionate about hands-on PR delivery as well as strategic leadership. Approximately 50-60% of the role is dedicated to personal delivery, with the remainder focused on account management, team development and commercial growth.
You will lead senior client relationships, personally write and pitch content, secure high-value coverage, manage retainers and budgets, contribute to new business activity and mentor junior team members, ensuring consistently high standards across all accounts.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute tailored, multi-channel B2B PR programmes aligned to client commercial goals
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior level stakeholders
• Write compelling, technically accurate press materials, features and thought leadership content
• Manage retainers, identifying growth opportunities and supporting new business development
• Plan and deliver LinkedIn and digital-first campaigns, including paid and organic activity
• Monitor, evaluate and report on campaign performance through dashboards and client reviews

About You
Applicants must have proven PR agency experience, a strong B2B background and demonstrable ability to personally deliver campaigns through writing, pitching and securing coverage. You will be commercially minded, confident operating at senior stakeholder level, detail-oriented and results-driven, with experience mentoring junior colleagues. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Desirable experience includes sectors such as commercial property (utilities, infrastructure, renewables, asset valuation), transport and logistics, insurance/insurtech and related regulated environments, with some exposure to B2C.
East Midlands locality is advantageous for hybrid working although other working arrangements can be discussed. UK based candidates only please, due to client requirements.
