Senior Product Designer

6 month Contract

We need a Contract Senior Product Designer / Interim Senior UX Designer for a very large high traffic eCommerce business that sells to millions of consumers around the world.

This is a 6-month contract, hybrid with 1 day per week in central London offices, and is Inside IR35.

The Contract Senior Product Designer / Interim Senior UX Designer will:

\xe2\x80\x93 Work on post-purchase aspects of the consumer journey across web and mobile, where there lots of up-sale/cross-sale.
\xe2\x80\x93 Deliver industry leading user consumer experiences, working directly with the design team, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
\xe2\x80\x93 Use information architecture and interaction design skills to take product design deliverables through a full project lifecycle
\xe2\x80\x93 Conduct user/market, usability and competitor design research and sharing your findings with the team
\xe2\x80\x93 Identify and create clearly documented personas, user scenarios, user journeys, decision maps, and data dashboards
\xe2\x80\x93 Help to craft best-in-class product features by actively contributing during ideation workshops with other designers, engineers, and product managers
\xe2\x80\x93 Communicate our vision by creating wireframes, storyboards, prototypes and other design assets with minimal supervision
\xe2\x80\x93 Collaborate with the team to ensure brand identity is considered and integrated into all features and ensure the logical user flow is translated into an intuitive and stylish experience
\xe2\x80\x93 Conduct internal QA tests and ensure the features we deliver to our fans match our design vision
\xe2\x80\x93 Work with the analytics and product management teams to make measurable UX decisions
\xe2\x80\x93 Collaborate with product designers and engineers to maintain our Global Design System.

Candidates for the Contract Senior Product Designer / Interim Senior UX Designer role must have:
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong experience as a senior product designer within a large transactional ecommerce environment (eg groceries, fashion, travel, media, entertainment, airlines, etc)
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience across web and mobile
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong generalist experience across UX, UI and research, including visuals and good process
\xe2\x80\x93 Comfort travelling to central London officed 1 day per week
