Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Production Design Engineer.

You will be required to take ownership of our design and manufacturing process, using Solid Works and following ISO 9001 and ISO3834 standards.

The role will be very rewarding, allowing you to get heavily involved in the development and manufacture of products that incorporates hydraulic and electrical components.

All products are manufactured in-house and you will experience the product going through all processes of manufacture.

You will be required to provide information to facilitate manufacture of precision parts within strict tolerances.

Your responsibilities will include;

Develop improvements and carry out modifications for existing products through ECR process Design and generation of new products from concept following standards of FMEA Design and generate fixtures and jigs for the purpose of lean manufacture BOM Management Management of all engineering data within our PDM files Liaising directly with clients on projects to provide engineering solutions
To be successful you should;

Be highly experienced in Engineering, ideally with design experience in heavy equipment design Competent user of SolidWorks CNC programming beneficial Experience in preforming design calculations, e.g. stress loading Experience in designing components using precision standard machining tolerance Sound knowledge of hydraulic components parts Knowledge of electrical circuitry beneficial
