Job description

In this lead role, you\'ll be the focus for the Midlands area and have the opportunity to apply your talents to an already profitable region.

Its that rare opportunity which will allow you full regional control and scope to put your full stamp on the region.

The business are a successful and entrepreneurial operation who have enjoyed excellent investment and focus into their financial lines division.

This is helped create a slick and profitable business area, controlled regionally by senior hands-on underwriters.

And in this rarely available role, you\'ll inherit the Midlands business with a remit for both retention and growth, in line with the UK wide strategy.

Running an already profitable book of PI business, you\'ll pick up existing relationships with all the key broking accounts and develop SME business across a variety of client sectors from construction through to technology, property and engineering.

The regional team are all supported with substantial quality leads provided via marketing and wider group referrals plus have excellent technical support via the UK servicing unit.

It means you are completely free to do what you do best.

This position is ideal for either an existing Senior Underwriter looking for a regional role or for an ambitious Underwriter looking for their first senior position.
