Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic Valuation & Advisory team, with a primary focus on the Industrial & Logistics sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of valuation assignments, develop expertise in a growing asset class, and advance your career within a leading global real estate firm.



Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation of appraisal reports for a variety of purposes, including financing, acquisition, disposition, and financial reporting.



Conduct thorough market research and data analysis to support valuation conclusions.



Inspect industrial and logistics properties to gather relevant property information.



Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.



Collaborate with senior team members on complex valuation assignments.



Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the industrial and logistics sector.



Utilize Argus Enterprise and other relevant software to perform financial modeling and discounted cash flow analysis.



Ensure compliance with USPAP and other relevant valuation standards.



Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.



Support the team in preparing proposals and presentations for clients.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field.



A Registered Valuer with relevant experience in commercial real estate valuation, preferably with a focus on industrial and logistics properties.



Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.



Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.



Should ideally be proficient in Argus Enterprise and have an understanding of Argus Developer and the approach to DCF valuations.



Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
