The PMO Team manage the on-boarding of new customers, internal projects and changes within our systems. You will be working with customers that spend tens of millions of pounds through our platforms, which include some well-recognized brands and large local authorities across the UK and internationally. The projects this role works on can vary on complexity and requirements, but they are always exciting!

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of large and complex projects, often associated with a higher volume of risks. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress, quality, and risks of multiple strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, goals, and values. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and value partners and investors. They will also be responsible for overseeing and coaching other Project Managers within the team, setting a leading example for excellent project management and communication skills.

Office attendance requirements: 3 days a week in the office.

Roles and Responsibilities



Take full ownership and accountability for key project management tools -- including project plans, risk registers, issue and decision logs, and lessons learned -- ensuring they are regularly updated and used to actively monitor and drive project progress.

Lead and host internal and external meetings such as project progress updates, system demonstrations, and handover sessions, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.

Collaborate and partner with internal teams and departments to meet project timelines, resolve challenges, and maintain momentum.

Deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and in line with the agreed scope, consistently maintaining focus on quality outcomes.

Support external communications and act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring timely updates, managing expectations, and maintaining client confidence.

Use industry and operational experience to advise on solutions to risks and issues, aligning with internal stakeholders to deliver a project that meets agreed requirements and scope.

Manage the Project Managers and Junior Project Managers, helping to develop their skills and ensuring consistency in project delivery.

Lead change management and pre-go-live readiness, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication of project status across the business.

Partner with the Growth team during the scoping and discovery phase to ensure project requirements are fully understood and aligned.

Support the sales process by offering insight on solutions and project viability, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment.

Act as a trusted link between clients, internal teams, and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and confidence from project kick-off to delivery.

Identifying gaps in the systems and processes that we use to drive efficiencies within the team, leading lessons learned sessions and implementing improvements to our ways of working.

Act as a point of escalation for risks and issues highlighted by the Project Managers and Junior Project Managers.

ESSENTIAL



Operational or implementation experience within the pre-employment screening industry

At least 3 years experience in a project manager or change management role.

A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills -- confident, clear, and professional in both written and verbal interactions.

Able to influence, guide, and direct customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and priorities.

Comfortable managing the delivery of tasks across internal matrix teams, bringing structure, clarity, and motivation to every project.

Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, with the confidence to manage competing deadlines.

Comfortable working with a range of systems, including Volti4, Monday.com, HubSpot, Prism, and CR.net -- with the curiosity and initiative to pick up new tools quickly.

Sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of your work.

Calm and focused under pressure, able to deliver quality results in fast-paced environments.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive -- you take ownership and drive tasks through to completion.

Dynamic, honest, and confident personality, with a professional and positive approach.

Eagerness to learn, a growth mindset, and a strong personal drive to succeed.

Able to work and learn independently, with full training and support provided.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Skilled at building strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.

Respectful of confidentiality, handling sensitive information with care and discretion.

Ability to coordinate and oversee task delivery across multiple contributors in a matrix-managed environment.

A strong leader, able to drive the team and ensure they are equipped to meet deadlines and ensure excellent customer service.

DESIRABLE



Project Management Qualification, such as Prince2 or Agile.
