We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our established and experienced Chief Information office team here at RSA on a {hybrid/remote} basis.
Your Role
The purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end project delivery process. You are accountable for working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed within agreed outcomes and scope (typically cost, time and quality)
Our project managers are empowered to define their team's ways of working and choosing the best technique to successfully deliver the scope of work. Project Managers and Heads of Portfolio are jointly focused on supporting platform owners and technical leads to manage the platform lifecycle and roadmap, optimising the flow of work to realise value sooner.
You may work independently on large and complex change initiatives or take a lead role within a wider programme of work. Experience with Guidewire Claim Center is required for this role ideally with both technical and business facing knowledge
As a member of the Head of Portfolio's Delivery Team, you contribute to the overall success of the Portfolio, through planning, tracking and reporting activities.
About You
In the role we are looking for an Individual who can work within the frameworks, standards and governance applicable to the change including business, change and CIO. You will define and establish the project methodology (waterfall, agile or hybrid) and best fit structure, roles and
teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery working with platform and portfolio teams. Align ways of working with wider CIO functions such as CISO and Service Assurance.
You will need to manage project costs of up to 10 Million a Year and ensure agreement and visibility of total cost of ownership as well as managing benefits, through optimizing cost efficiency and early value release, ensuring benefit ownership assigned and measurement agreed as part of project deliver. You will be shaping frameworks and project standards through your feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.
