Job Description

We're looking for a

Senior Regional Counsel

to provide support to our Legal department. You will report to our Director, Associate General Counsel (Employment EMEA/APAC) to provide employment law advice for our EMEA/APAC business.


You can choose to work from home or head into an EPAM office, it's up to you. This will be a fixed term contract January 2026 - September 2026.


This is an opportunity for a senior employment lawyer to obtain further experience working in a fast-paced, exciting global organization.

Responsibilities



Advise on labor and employment matters across Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and other EMEA/APAC locations as needed Support recruitment, employment contracts, consultation and disciplinary processes, performance management, collective agreements, personnel leasing, terminations, working time, leaves of absence, dismissal claims and statutory obligations Build strong relationships with business and HR leaders in EMEA and Legal teams locally and globally Develop, revise and implement employment documents, compliance policies, practices and scalable training solutions Draft, review and manage employment templates and assist with negotiation and drafting questions Review, amend and negotiate people-related contracts including payroll, vendor and agency agreements Manage employee relations issues, pre-dispute conflicts, employment litigation and support commercial negotiations Advise on privacy compliance, GDPR, data protection, country work rules, works councils, M&A transactions and liaise with external counsel as required

Requirements



Qualified senior employment lawyer qualified with significant post qualification experience in employment and labor law (around 10+ years' PQE, but candidates with more or less experience who can demonstrate that they have equivalent levels of skills or knowledge will be considered) English fluency and French or Dutch language skills required to support those markets Previous in-house experience is essential Experience of working in IT or professional services industry is an advantage Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated and committed with the ability to build and develop rapport with HR and the business Professional, calm under pressure, well organised, proactive with strong interpersonal skills
