Job Description

Due to continued expansion, our Residential Property Department is looking for a qualified Senior Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join the Team on a permanent, full time basis.

Who we are looking for




Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing, with a proven track record, be self-motivated and be capable of working independently on a day to day basis. A landlord and tenant law background/experience would be advantageous for this role. You will however be working within a wider team structure and will therefore benefit from remote support and supervision.

What we expect of you




The ability to manage your own caseload to include lease creations, transfers of part, lease surrenders and extensions, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, flats and shared ownerships. Be comfortable maintaining and strengthening existing client and professional relationships and helping build new. Have competent IT skills including the use of a case management system and be willing to learn new technology. Thorough knowledge of CQS and all compliance issues. An understanding of client care. An excellent communicator, both face to face and over the telephone. Ability to draft and prepare clear and concise documents. Attention to detail. Able to work accurately under pressure. Good time and file management skills and be able to prioritise tasks. An interest in marketing and in developing the Firm's practice including attendance at business development events and working with and supporting the Firm's marketing function.
