Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent care and emotional support to children in a residential home
Lead by example, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
Assist in the creation and implementation of individualised care plans
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and handovers to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory requirements
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and external professionals
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and care regulations at all times
What We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
(or equivalent) - required* At least
1 year of experience
in a children's residential setting - preferred* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role is highly desirable
Strong leadership and communication skills
A compassionate, child-centered approach to care
Full UK Driving Licence
- required* Knowledge of child protection legislation and care standards
