The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced
Senior Responsible Individual (RI)
to join its leadership team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the shareholders, the successful candidate will lead a team of 15, manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, and contribute to the strategic direction of the practice.
This is a senior appointment offering significant influence, professional challenge, and a clear path towards partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients as signing partner, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality audits in compliance with UK standards and internal quality requirements.
Conduct hot and cold reviews of audit files and liaise with regulatory bodies, including ACCA, for quality inspections.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering solutions and strategic advice.
Collaborate with fellow partners to provide integrated solutions and support business development initiatives, including proposals and growth strategies.
Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Work with firm leadership to shape strategic objectives and drive overall growth.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
ACCA-qualified
, with
10+ years' experience
as a Responsible Individual.
In-depth knowledge of
UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS, and auditing standards
.
Proven track record of managing audit portfolios and leading successful engagements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
A strategic thinker with commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.
Recognised as a respected leader, able to inspire confidence both internally and externally.
Preferred profile: A senior professional with presence and gravitas, ideally within the 42-50 age group, with the authority to operate at partner level.
