We are looking for a member of the team to take up a 12 month maternity cover role to lead the Retail Marketing and Operations function, guided by the Head of Retail Management for the European office (EO). The team is focussed on delivering marketing leading customer experiences for our TV, AV, and Home Appliance categories within the physical retail store environment across Europe.

Role and Responsibilities
Drive the retail marketing & operations strategyFormulate and execute the EO Retail Marketing strategy for TV, AV and Domestic Appliance products with oversight from the Head of Retail Marketing. Work closely with the 16 European subsidiaries, regional product teams, and Global headquarters in Suwon to formulate innovative go-to-market solutions to enhance customer engagement and conversion within physical retail stores across Europe. To achieve the above you will need to interpret and anticipate macro market trends and glean timely data driven insights from multiple sources, including qualitative and quantitative customer, consumer, competitor intelligence reports, and brand metrics. Utilising data systems and platforms, identify and execute initiatives to enhance product sell out performance, SKU optimisation and ROI on shop display solutions

Lead the Retail Go-to-Market (GTM) process for Home AppliancesAct as the central liaison between Global HQ, European regional product teams and 16 European subsidiaries to ensure seamless coordination of regional initiatives. Key point of contact for day-to-day engagement with overarching EO central CE GTM team to ensure alignment and timely delivery of customer propositions and solutions for strategic product launches. Define project delivery roadmaps, timelines, roles and responsibilities and core KPIs of internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of global and regional initiatives. Support and guide subsidiaries in retail excellence, building and shaping European playbooks and fixture programs.

Governance & Implementation MonitoringCultivate strong collaborative relationships with subsidiaries to gain deep insight into local strategies and local marketing plans, to ensure compliance with approval guidelines. Facilitate timely visibility of subsidiary performance, competitor insights, market risks and opportunities with relevant internal stakeholders. Track, consolidate, report and act upon subsidiary execution status (RAG) in relation to product and campaign launches, merchandising solutions, promoter numbers, competitor activity, sell out, OOS rates inc dead SKU. Support Retail Marketing Managers and Analysts ensuring clear communication and data insights to report and improve Retail KPIs / operations in Europe Lead the coordination of Suwon and subsidiaries meetings and bi-annual workshops.

What we need for this roleRelevant retail experience working in a large, fast-paced international company, preferably in a global or regional role, Comprehensive understanding of retail marketing and operations - knowledge of consumer electronics products would be a distinct advantage. Experience in developing and testing new propositions with a data-driven approach and a strong understanding of retail management KPIs Adept at applying strategic thinking to practical execution, based on a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. An exceptional communicator, able to build positive working relationships and align stakeholders at various levels and from diverse backgrounds, including Suwon leadership and European subsidiaries. Experience in statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques with the ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations Ability to distil complex information into clear, compelling narratives to drive action. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive consensus in a matrixed environment. Proven end-to-end project management experience

What does success look like?European retail strategy defined and executed and based on quantitative and qualitative data driven insights. Timely identification of opportunities translated into solutions that can be adopted by subsidiaries to improve the customer experience drive competitive advantage. Pan-EU efficiencies identified and action plans for optimisation aligned to business needs. Clear demonstration of subsidiary performance enhancement derived from continuous performance evaluation and best practice implementation. Product launches and regional campaigns aligned to regional strategy, executed on time and to budget. Advancement of business analytics and retail intelligence tools to facilitate speed of insight and inform decision making.
