Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

27,000

Holiday:

29 days per annum (includes Bank Holidays)

Purpose of the job:

The Senior Sales Office Administrator will support our sales team and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a pivotal role within the business, requiring a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:




Sales Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring all processes run efficiently and professionally.


Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and liaise with internal departments to ensure timely fulfilment and delivery.

Customer Liaison: Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, offering a high standard of service and resolving issues promptly.

CRM & Data Management: Maintain and update customer records and sales data using CRM systems (e.g. Sage 200), ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Team Coordination: Work closely with colleagues across departments including accounts, logistics, and marketing to support sales initiatives.

Office Administration: Oversee general office duties such as managing diaries, booking travel, ordering supplies, and supporting wider administrative functions.

The ideal candidate requirements:




Strong organisational and time management skills


Excellent written and verbal communication

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team


High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Professional and approachable manner

Qualifications and Experience:




GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent; A-Levels or a business-related qualification desirable


Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales administration or office management role

Previous experience in a senior or supervisory capacity is advantageous
