About the role

As a Senior Scientist within our Informatics team, you will work within a small, established team in the informatics group to support our HTS and compound handling activities. This is an exciting time to join as we develop our HTS and compound handling platforms to their full capability and install significant enterprise level infrastructure.

The opportunity:

  • Manage formatting and loading of internally & externally prepared screening library compounds into informatics system.
  • Liaise with chemistry, analytical and bioscience groups for compound information and tracking.
  • Management of users in the informatics system. e.g., setting up user accounts, resetting passwords, permissions etc.
  • Support HTS, bioscience and chemistry in compound handling and tracking requirements.
  • Support addition of compounds into the Sygnature screening compound collection from third party, both vendors and customers.

Key requirements:

  • A degree in science preferably in bioinformatics
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management software.
  • Experience working in a HTS/compound management role.
  • Experience in Excel, VBA, and python scripting.
  • Experience in SQL
  • A Positive Attitude for Problem Solving.
