Location of the role:
The role is within Priory's marketing department, which is based at Priory Hopsital Cheadle Royal. The role is hybrid, involving office-based days, and home working. It may also involve occasional travel, Priory sites across the country.
The marketing team is currently made up of 10 members, split across digital marketing, content marketing, SEO and direct referrer marketing. We also share an office with Priory's internal comms team, and members of the PR team.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, the role of Senior Social Media Executive will play a major part in maximising the Priory's voice across a number of social media channels.
The post will work within the marketing team, delivering social media content that is integrated with wider marketing, communications and business development initiatives.Lead all social media activity, including planning, executing and managing the organic and paid social media content plan across core social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook
Produce digitally-focused content that engages a thriving mental health and addictions audience
Proficient in producing written, graphical and video content to a high standard
Maintain internal and external relationships with other teams from around the business, such as consultants and the PR team, completing requests as they are received
Manage a paid budget for social media campaigns, working to maximise the effectiveness of spend across channels
Monitor and manage Priory's online presence, responding to incoming enquiries
Measure and report on the impact and performance of social media activity, adjusting the strategy based on learnings

What you'll bring to the role

Previous experience in a similar social media marketing role is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
Experience in a role in the industry is advantageous but not essential. Other first-hand experience of mental health subject matter gained through education and/or practical work experience would be considered beneficial, but not essential.
The successful applicant will be a motivated self-starter with experience in a similar social media role. They will have the confidence to take ownership of the channel, be ambitious about their career in social media, and not be afraid to challenge how things are done and push new initiatives.
This role will provide the successful candidate with a high degree of autonomy. It will be crucial that the successful candidate is able to make decisions and complete their duties and responsibilities with limited oversight.
Additional skills:Strong written communicator skills, both internally to team members but also using flair and creativity who is able to bring clinical content to non-clinical colleagues and consumers in an engaging manner
Someone who is comfortable working on their own, but buys into our team ethos
Strong attention to detail
Graphic design skills, for example with Canva or Adobe Photosho
Video producing and editing skills
An understanding of, and experience using, A.I. to enhance various parts of social media publishing
Flexible and forward-thinking
A clear understanding of social media best practices
Ability to use social reporting and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or similar
Strong verbal communication skills
Experience of, or a willingness to, appear on in front of camera or behind a mic would also help you stand out from the crowd
