Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote / Scotland
Day rate: \xc2\xa3600 (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months
Understanding Solutions is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Agile Development to work with our client to lead the creation and delivery of new applications.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL databases, Azure Function App, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Web Jobs.
- Competence in .NET technologies, including .NET MVC, .NET Razor, .NET WebPages, EntityFramework 6, EF Plus.
- Expertise in SQL Server, SQL, including recursive CTEs, and SQL performance optimization.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like KnockoutJS, JQuery, and JQuery Validation.
- Understanding of RESTful API, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and web security.
- Proficiency in test automation tools, including Selenium WebDriver, Moq, and XUnit.
- Proficient experience in Azure App Services, Azure Function App, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Web Jobs.
- Demonstrated experience in continuously improving development, integration, and delivery processes.
- Proven experience in leading Agile software development teams.
