Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Help with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for dishes.
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Skills
Proven experience in food production within a restaurant setting.
