. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled chef to play a key role in our kitchen's success, with strong potential for creative input and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead and train junior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and service
Collaborate on seasonal menus and rotating 3-weekly specials
Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, including during holidays
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain organized storage
Uphold our 5-star hygiene standards by completing daily cleaning/job sheets
Ensure food huts and deli are properly prepped and stocked
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a large restaurant or similar environment
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
Passion for quality, fresh food and seasonal ingredients
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
