We are seeking an experienced and inspiring

Senior Sous Chef

to lead our kitchen team at Skylark Golf & Country Club, a prestigious venue renowned for excellent service, stunning surroundings, and a loyal membership base.

About the Role:

As Sous Chef, you will take ownership of our food offering across the club, including the restaurant, bar, golf society lunches, events, and private functions. You will have the freedom to design seasonal menus showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients, and ensure consistent standards that exceed member and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate kitchen team. Design and deliver creative, cost-effective, and appealing menus. Oversee all food preparation and service with meticulous attention to quality and presentation. Manage stock levels, ordering, GP targets, and kitchen budgets effectively. Maintain excellent hygiene, health & safety, and compliance standards. Support club events, tournaments, and member functions with bespoke offerings.

About You:

Proven experience as Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fresh food environment, ideally within premium leisure, golf, or hotel settings. A natural leader with excellent organisational skills and a calm, hands-on approach. Strong financial acumen with experience managing food costs and supplier relationships. Passionate about food trends and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Reliable, flexible, and committed to maintaining the club's reputation for excellence.

Pay: 30,000.00-36,000.00 per year
