As Senior Sous Chef, you'll: Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining efficiency across all sections. Mentor and support junior chefs, fostering growth and excellence. Collaborate on menu development, bringing fresh ideas and innovative flair. Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene at all times. Step up and take charge in the absence of the Head Chef. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and report any issues.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous culinary experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
