As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation are maintained. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing diverse menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to food safety regulations Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to the highest standards of taste and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety guidelines Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste Ensure all food served is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery Enforce strict hygiene practices among all team members

Experience



Extensive food preparation, cooking, and culinary experience across various cuisines Experience in using fresh produce Strong background in food safety standards and regulations Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations Experience in managing stock control and inventory management systems Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail in food presentation and service standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour
