Senior Spa Therapist

We are opening a brand-new luxury spa, set right on the water's edge in West Kilbride, with panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran.

The spa will feature six beautiful treatment rooms, a four-person Rasul chamber, outdoor vitality pool and sauna, tranquil fire-pit, indoor steam room and relaxation areas with coastal views at every turn.

Senior Spa Therapist

Job Overview

Support the Spa Manager in delivering the highest levels of professionalism and service throughout the spa.

Lead by example in delivering exceptional treatments, following brand protocols with precision and care.

Mentor and support therapists with standards, techniques, and daily operations.

Help oversee treatment quality, guest journey standards, and operational consistency.

Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding new team members.

Advise guests on after-care and home-care products, supporting retail performance.

Strive to achieve personal and team targets set by the Spa Manager.

Ensure immaculate standards of cleanliness and presentation across treatment rooms & spa areas

Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.

Support the safe operation of the spa's wet facilities, this includes carrying out 2 hourly pool tests, recording results and reporting any variances.

Who We Are Looking For

Qualified to SVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Beauty/Complementary Therapies.

Previous experience in a spa therapist role is essential; prior supervisory or senior experience is highly desirable.

ESPA and/or Ishga training would be an advantage.

Passionate, confident, and committed to delivering five-star treatment standards.

A supportive, positive team player with excellent communication skills.

Someone who leads by example and takes pride in exceptional guest care.

Flexible to work weekends and support peak business times.

Motivated, organised, and able to use their own initiative.
