At Premier Education, we're hiring a Lead Coach to manage, support, and grow a team of Activity Professionals delivering PE, extracurricular clubs, and holiday camp sessions. This is a hybrid role combining team leadership with some hands-on coaching delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:



Team Leadership & Management



Lead, coach and manage a team of Sports Coaches delivering in schools and community settings. Run daily huddles and weekly LION meetings to set priorities, drive performance and solve problems. Create rotas and staffing plans to ensure consistent delivery across the programme. Use observations and feedback to develop staff, address issues, and recognise success.

Coach Development & Training



Mentor and guide team members with tailored development plans. Deliver in-house CPD sessions to raise standards and unlock potential. Support new starters with structured onboarding, induction and mentoring. Identify talent and build succession pipelines within your team.

Operational Quality & Delivery



Maintain Premier's high standards (PEPs) across all sessions -- curricular, clubs and camps. Support with direct delivery in schools as needed -- lead by example with high-energy, high-quality coaching. Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and admin processes are followed to the letter.

Stakeholder Engagement



Build strong relationships with schools, parents and local partners. Represent Premier Education with professionalism and a solutions-first attitude.

Training & Progression



We will fully fund a

formal Team Leader qualification

if you don't already have one. You'll have a clear

progression and succession plan from day one

. Ongoing CPD and leadership development to take your career to the next level.

You'll Need:



Experience leading or mentoring a team in sports, education or activity-based environments. Organisational skills - able to manage people, rotas and reporting systems with clarity. Confidence in delivering PE or sports sessions to children aged 4-11. Strong communication - able to motivate, support and hold your team to account. A passion for growing people and improving quality.

24,999 - 27,008
