We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role supports and deputises for the Supply Chain Manager, ensuring seamless operations across inventory management, international logistics, and compliance. You'll be instrumental in maintaining relationships with tollers, freight forwarders, and customs agents, while also contributing to financial reporting, site safety, and regulatory adherence across both our Cinderford and Hofors sites. This is a fantastic opportunity, and you'll be at the heart of our supply chain, helping to ensure continuity, compliance, and efficiency across international operations.
Working Environment:
You'll thrive in a fast-paced, internationally focused supply chain setting, collaborating with internal teams (Operations, Quality, Finance, EHS, Procurement) and external partners (freight forwarders, customs agents, tollers). The role demands agility, precision, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder relationship management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee inventory activities including cycle counts and annual audits
Create export blends and shipment loads using internal systems
Manage tolling relationships and assess service quality
Monitor and report on stock positions to drive inventory efficiency
Compile and report credit exposure and VAT reconciliation data
Coordinate freight and customs logistics for timely material movement
Provide remote support for Hofors site operations
Deputise for the Supply Chain Manager, leading meetings and representing the team
Perform duties of Supply Chain Coordinators and other business-related tasks as need
What we're looking for
GCSE Grade 3+ in Maths (or equivalent), or 5+ years in a financial role with strong numerical and analytical skills
GCSE Grade 4+ in English (or equivalent)
Proven experience in Supply Chain or International Logistics
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERM platforms
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of International Waste Transportation Regulations (desirable)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience (desirable)
A background in supply chain, logistics, or similar fast-paced, cross-functional environments
