What you'll do
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall health status, ensuring timely communication with healthcare professionals.
Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, fostering an inclusive environment.
Ensure cleanliness and safety within the living space through regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and community interaction.
Utilize equipment for safe patient transfers and heavy lifting when necessary.
Skills
Proven experience in group home or assisted living settings.
Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and caregiving best practices.
