Job Description

The core CAMHS Team work in a busy and dynamic environment, and we pride our self on being leaders in delivering high quality compassionate care to children and young people, while protecting and promoting staff wellbeing and development. The team work with children and young people within Gloucestershire.
For this role it is essential that you have a full UK driving license, and a car- and the role will be a mix of clinic and community work
We are looking for someone who has experience working with children and or young people ideally within a mental health setting.
The successful post holder will be expected to match the ethos of the team, and commit to ongoing personal and service development, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and compassion.

Main duties of the job

  • engaging with children and young people with mental health difficulties and their families
  • understanding clinical risk and safeguarding within a healthcare setting
  • understanding other difficulties children and young people are facing
  • working alongside care coordinators to offer evidenced based interventions often in the community
  • work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure children, young people and their families needs are met effectively
