We are seeking a
Senior Residential Support Worker
to lead by example, mentor colleagues, and help shape a positive, consistent care culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage shifts, supporting and guiding Residential Support Workers
Promote the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of each young person
Develop, review, and implement individual care and support plans
Be a positive role model to children and colleagues alike
Support daily routines, including education, activities, and appointments
Address and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with policy
Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs
Collaborate with families, external professionals, and agencies
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Note: Health & Social Care qualifications are not accepted
At least 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care planning procedures
Leadership experience or ability to coach and mentor others
Full UK driving licence and reliable transport
Desirable:
Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, trauma, or abuse
Understanding of Ofsted regulations, therapeutic care, and risk management
What We Offer
13.50 - 15.00 per hour , plus 60 per sleep-in shift
