35 hours per week over 5 shifts (part time shifts available), consisting of both early (7.45am-2.45pm) and late shifts (2.30pm-9.30pm)
We are looking for caring and passionate Senior Support Workers to join our dedicated team, who are driven to support our residents to get the very best from life.
Criteria:
Right to work in the UK
Transport is essential due to location
Clear communication skills
An understanding of our resident's specific communication needs
A minimum of 12 months' experience in a healthcare provider setting
An understanding of person-centred care and support
Literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to lead others and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
Completed or Working towards a level 3 diploma in Health & Social Care
The role:
Each day is varied to provide care and support that is tailored to residents needs whilst promoting independence
Communicate clearly with residents, colleagues, parents, healthcare professionals and visitors
Undertake and perform Shift Manager duties as and when required
Competent in medication administration
Provide personal care and support to our residents
Assist with our residents' daily needs while promoting independence and positive based outcomes
To develop an understanding of each person's communication needs and styles, in order to facilitate effective communication
Safeguard our residents.
