About the Role




Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people? We're looking for a

Senior Support Worker

to lead and inspire a team of Housing Support Workers across two new

Ofsted-registered schemes

in Lambeth, supporting young people aged 16-17 with complex needs.


You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support that empowers our young residents to build independence and secure long-term housing. You'll lead by example--facilitating one-to-ones, team meetings, and training sessions, while ensuring safeguarding, risk assessments, and personalised support plans are delivered to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing



Leading and supporting a team working across 7-day shifts, including weekends and nights. Ensuring trauma-informed, person-centred support plans are in place and regularly reviewed. Responding promptly to safeguarding concerns and liaising with partner agencies. Supporting young people to develop life skills and move towards independent living. Promoting a culture of trust, empathy, and emotional safety within your team.

What We're Looking For



Experience working with vulnerable teenagers aged 16-17. Proven ability to lead or supervise a team in a 24/7 support environment. Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care. A Level 3 qualification in social care, youth work, or housing (or willingness to work towards it). Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience.
