Do you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care or an equivalent qualification?

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to join our Ofsted-regulated Residential Care Home for young people aged 10-17. This excellent opportunity provides the opportunity to work alongside children and young people who may have EBD.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills within residential childcare. You will work with disadvantaged children aged 10 to 17 years, many of whom have a history of trauma, neglect or abuse, supporting them with all aspects of their growth, development and enjoyment of life. You will help to provide a safe, nurturing, caring and therapeutic home environment that supports all their needs, and enables them to thrive and flourish. This will include everyday activities, such as taking them to school, cleaning and cooking, and supporting and encouraging them with play and home-based activities, as well as supporting them to engage with a range of external activities to encourage and help them fulfil their social, emotional, physical, creative and spiritual needs.

The role can be incredibly rewarding, but can also be challenging at times. We will be there during the good times, as well as the difficult times, and will need to show resilience and determination to overcome the hurdles, and support them with their emotions and behaviours.

You will have at least two years of experience working with children with emotional and behavioural needs within a residential home environment. You will also need to have strong knowledge of OFSTED and a proven track record of working within guidelines to support young people and their needs. Strong leadership skills, as well as clear written and verbal communication is needed necessary.

A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care is essential.

Enhanced DBS will be required.
