Responsibilities

:

Establish positive relationships with our children and help them develop life skills. To create a supportive environment for our children, with a focus on promoting safety, health and well-being. Ensure our home is safe, secure and stable for our children. To help and support children achieve their optimum potential in relation to education, independence, health and social skills. To undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in our home is always maintained, creating a positive and supportive environment for both children and colleagues. To communicate positively and honestly, ensuring excellent communication to connect with our children, keeping them informed and allowing them to express themselves authentically. To care about doing things well - contribute to creating an environment that enhances positive development and one that provides memorable experiences that help our children achieve independence in the future. To safeguard children from risks to their health and welfare. Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory and good practice as outlined in the Children's Home Regulations 2015.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A full, UK driving license Competent working with IT systems Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays Valid DBS check or willingness to undertake Desirable - Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) Experience - Minimum of 2 years

Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
