Senior Support Worker

, you'll help learning disabled adults learn new skills, develop independence, build confidence, and explore new interests. Every day is different - you could be supporting someone with daily tasks like cooking and shopping, helping them access the community, or encouraging them to try a new hobby. Your role is to provide the right level of support while promoting choice and independence.

South Road is a 10 bedroom residential care home supporting adults with learning disabilities. The people we support enjoy a wide variety of activities within the local community including, day services, drama, music, gardening, pottery, cinema, theatre etc. South Road is a busy but friendly and supportive environment and we are looking for someone to join our team who is hard working, enthusiastic and supportive. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the manger to ensure that the service runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting and exceeding the regulatory requirements whilst always putting the needs and wishes of the people we support at the forefront of everything we do.

Driving preferred

- Public transport is limited

Right to work in the UK on a full-time/part-time basis without the need for sponsorship

Shifts will usually start around 7:30am till 3:00pm - 2.30pm till 10:00pm, alternate weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.97 per hour
