Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in a residential care home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, possess leadership qualities, and be passionate about delivering high-quality support.

Duties:
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure individual needs are met
- Utilise IT systems for recording and updating care plans and resident information
- Provide personal care and support in line with individual care plans
- Supervise and lead a team of care assistants to deliver person-centred care
- Drive the implementation of care plans and ensure they are followed accurately

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- A compassionate nature with a drive to provide excellent care
- Proficient in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Familiarity with working in a care home environment

- QCF level 3 required.
