I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Senior Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Birchgrove, Swansea and supports adults aged between 18 - 65.

The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.

Salary: 25,759 - 26,417

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: 3-week rota 07:30 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 22:00

Location: Birchgrove, Swansea

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:

Support the Registered Manager in running shifts Ensure all compliance is managed correctly Supporting the families of residents Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices. Ensuring the safety of the service users. Following care plans for each individual. Taking service users out into the community. Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips. Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements of the Senior Support Worker Role:

Previous experience working within a residential service NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care Must be resilient. Drivers

Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
