Job Opportunity: Senior Support Worker - Blackpool

About the Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a vital part of a team supporting individuals with learning disabilities in their own homes. Your role will focus on delivering person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, promoting independence, and encouraging community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centred support ensuring safety, well-being, and rights. Develop and implement personalised support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and professionals. Monitor and adjust support plans to meet evolving needs. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members to ensure consistent care. Maintain accurate records of progress and observations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

About You:

We are looking for candidates who have:

Proven experience in a support role, ideally with individuals with learning disabilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. A commitment to person-centred support and promoting independence. A genuine passion for improving lives. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field. All staff will complete the Care Certificate, with opportunities for further qualifications such as the Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma.

Location: Blackpool Salary: Up to 12.90 per hour Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a flexible rota including evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and public holidays.
