Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication management.
Facilitate social interactions and community engagement to promote social inclusion.
Monitor and report on clients' physical and emotional well-being to relevant professionals.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals facing various challenges.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a care environment.
Previous experience in a Shift lead role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. But must have or be working on Level 3
